The Annual Chaitri Havan was organized at the terrace of Asiad Plaza, Santacruz West, Mumbai on 24th April 2016 from 3.30 pm onwards. Shrifal hom Vano time was 5pm and Mahaprasad time was 7pm onwards.
Mrs. Prabhaben Patel and Mr. Ambalalbhai Patel performed the Chaitra Havan on behalf of the Mandal, this year being their 50th Marriage Anniversary.
Many thanks to them for agreeing to perform the Havan and we wish them both many more years of marital bliss, good health and all happiness.
The Honorable Mahila Mandal guests from Surat, Mrs. Meenakshiben Bodawala ( President of Surati Modhvanik Samast Gynati Mahila Mandal Panch ) and Mrs. Ramilaben Auliawala ( President of Surati Modhvanik Adajan Mahila Mandal ) were honored with shawl & bouquet by Mrs. Prabhaben Patel ( President of Jagruti Mahila Mandal ), Mrs. Mamta Randeria ( Vice President of Jagruti Mahila Mandal ) & Mrs. Jagruti Asmani ( Committee Member ).
They donated Rs1000/- each to Jagruti Mahila Mandal, Mumbai.
Honorable Male Guests from Surat were welcomed with bouquets by Mr. Nayanbhai Khambati ( President of Jagruti Mandal ) & Mr. Jagdishbhai Chapatwala ( Secretary of Jagruti Mandal).
Mr. Nayanbhai Khambati also honored Mr. Ambalalbhai Patel with a bouquet.
All the community members took active part in performing the Havan and Mataji’s aarti.
After the Havan enthusiastic mahila members performed garba on Mataji ‘s songs.
Many members donated generously (totally more than 1 lakh) to the Jagruti Mandal & Jagruti Mahila Mandal .
The evening ended on a high note with a finger licking delicious Surati dinner inclusive of Aamras puri, Sweet Vedmi, Pattice, etc.
The Mandal wishes to thank Patel – Biscuitwala family for making available the terrace of Asiad Plaza for the Havan.
It was one more successful event executed by Jagruti Mandal and Mahila Mandal, Mumbai.
