This year the annual Sneh-Sammelan was organised along with a picnic to The Great Escape Resort.
Early in the morning all members were picked up from their designated pick up points. We arrived at the resort approximately at 9 o’clock.
Caps with our Mandal logo were distributed among all the members.
Members enjoyed breakfast as soon as they entered the resort.
Afterwards all of them Children, young and seniors eagerly participated and enjoyed the resort water rides and the swimming pools.
Live food was enjoyed by 11.30 am. Lunch was at 1.30 pm.
At 2pm, all members got together to play and enjoy fun and games arranged by the Mandal.Every body had a good time playing the Share Bazaar game and winning lots and lots of prizes. The game was hosted by Bharatbhai Randeria and Shaileshbhai Shroff.
Exactly at 4 o’clock, the Annual Sneh Sammelan Program Started.
The anchor for the Sammelan program was the new joint secretary, Jagruti Asmani who formerly welcomed all members to the program on behalf of the Mandal.
Deep Pragtya ceremony was done by the new in coming President Shri Dineshbhai Dadarwala, Joint President Smt Prabhaben Patel and Joint President Nayanbhai Khambati.
Ganesh Aarti was performed by Jagruti Asmani and Madhaviben Mody. It was Sung by Prabhaben, Mamta Randeria and Deepa Khatiwala.
Jagruti Asmani welcomed, introduced and invited the new President Shri Dineshbhai Dadarwala to the dias.
Dineshbhai then announced his new management committee team members along with post holders for 2018 – 2021. He also put forward all the new plans and resolutions already passed by the Mandal committee for the benefit of the Mandal members. All these educational and medical plans will be shortly put up on our SSMVJM website. From where all our members can get the information about them. The new president and the management team wishes that children of atleast one or two members of our community should become IAS / IPS Officers which is in great demand.
Next, the new secretary, Bharatbhai Randeria hosted the felicitations of our Mandal members deserving Children ( Students ).
The Vote of Thanks Speech was given by the new treasurer, Sanjaybhai Khatiwala.
SSMVJM thanks Smt Arunaben Khatiwala for helping to arrange the resort booking.

SSMVJM thanks Shaileshbhai Shroff for organising the transport buses and the specially designed and ordered caps for the members.
SSMVJM thanks all four volunteers who rendered their services.
SSMVJM thanks the Event Committee members, Bharatbhai Randeria, Shaileshbhai Shroff, Madhaviben Mody, Mamta Randeria & Deepa Khatiwala for successfully organising and executing the Picnic / Sneh Sammelan. We also thank Sanjaybhai Khatiwala for helping the Event Committee in organising the Picnic.

Last, but not the least, we thank all our members old and new for your continuous generous contributions and moral support by your regular presence in our events.
Total 130 members attended the event and made it a resounding success.
